084 Brick Towers
"Brick Towers" is a temporary installation designed by operadora. in collaboration with the Syracuse University School of Architecture for MEXTRÓPOLI 2024. The project was developed in partnership with the London-based engineering firm AKT II and Novaceramic, who contributed to the design, development, and fabrication of the specialized bricks.
The installation consists of three irregularly shaped towers built with bricks digitally printed on one of their faces. The construction methodology used in this project “Image Aided Construction” is currently Patent Pending.
